Pipeline Toolbox

Introduction

The Pipeline Toolbox is home to many tools and calculators. The PLTB User’s Guide presents information, guidelines and procedures for use during design, construction, operations and integrity tasks for field or office applications. The PTLB software became an industry standard over 20 years ago because the unique package of 230 pipeline engineering applications became the auditors checking tool of choice and operating companies adopted the Pipeline toolbox to ensure their design and operating calculations aligned with auditors expectations of prudent pipeline operators.

Technical Toolboxes continues to serve transmission, distribution, and pipeline engineering companies in the midstream industry by honoring this legacy and maintaining calculations that adhere to federal and professional codes/regulations such as PHMSA, DOT, ASME and others. A new level of quality is now being delivered as part of the user experience with greatly improved users manuals, graphics, and organizing analyses into projects.

Technical Toolboxes software was developed by pipeline engineers for pipeline engineers and spans many portions of the pipeline lifecycle for both gas and liquid service, including design, construction, operations, and integrity.
